Scrapbook Sunday

It’s been a little while since I’ve done a Scrapbook Sunday, to be honest it’s been a little while since I scrapbooked.

Still absolutely loving the Project Life app. I just can’t get enough of it.

My hope is that I will have our wedding photos finished by Christmas. I finally started on the actual ceremony photos today, so I’m pretty sure that’s a doable goal.

Also trying to keep up with some daily pages. Mama and I had another craft date, so of course I had to put a page together for that.

Has anyone else tried using the Project Life app? If you have, have you tried adding any extra embellishments after printing? I’ve been toying with that idea.

Later Gators!

Life is Good

Things have been insane lately. I have had a crazy couple of weeks at the apartment, let’s just say we’ve been dealing with some extra “friends” and leave it at that.

So obviously I needed a break, and today I got a really good one. I don’t care that I’m 28 years old, sometimes you just need a Mother/Daughter date.

Our morning started off with donuts from Paradise Donuts. Mine came with a gummy worm. 🍩

Then we headed downtown to Washington Park for some string art fun, hosted by Guilded. It was my first time doing string art, I’m probably going to redo mine and change the string color. The goldenrod just doesn’t really pop.

We also played in the fountains and searches for Pokemon, because my mom is cool like that.

How did you spend your weekend? Tell me all about it in the comments. πŸ˜€

They Make it Too Easy

Seriously, I can not get enough of the Project Life app. I did the following pages over the last two days.

I can’t even begin to express my happiness. Card Packs cost between .99-1.99, Layout Packs are .99 and to have your pages printed professionally it’s only .99 per page.
Basically it’s a steal!

Scrapbook Sunday might seriously be my new favorite day of the week! 😍

Have you guys given the Project Life app a try yet? What’s your favorite way to preserve your memories?

Scrapbook Sunday

I remember when scrap booking parties were huge. I was really into it, couldn’t get enough of the stickers and pretty papers. Entire camping trips and rainy weekends were spent documenting my memories. But then life happened and all of my pictures and supplies wound up in boxes.

Enter Project Life. Wow, the minute I discovered this form of scrap booking I was hooked. I bought the albums and the starter kits with the pre designed journal cards! Oh it was great!! Except that I never used any of it because life was still happening.

And then there was The Project Life App. This is my new favorite thing. I take almost all of my pictures using my phone, so this is the best possible answer to my lack of time dilemma.

So here are a couple of layouts I’ve put together from our honeymoon. It was so super easy, and you can order high quality prints right from the app, as well as the scrapbook sleeves and albums to store them in.

So if you’ve ever wanted to get into scrap booking but you just haven’t been able to find the time; try theΒ Project Life App.

A Vast Improvement

It only took me one Disney movie to make this wreath. So however long Aladdin is. πŸ˜‚ I still need to replace the door knocker, and I wouldn’t mind changing up the door knob while I’m at it.

That’s one thing I really like about our apartment; they give us a lot of free reign. Not many places will let you paint.

Here’s a close up of the wreath.

The sign says ‘The Spitler’s’. We have horrible lighting in our hallway, and editing blew the photo out some; but at least it’s true to color now. πŸ˜€
If you guys decide to spruce up your doors, leave me a comment! I’d love to see what you create!!
